Liner Notes : | It is rare that a drummer would have such a noteworthy career - so respected and significant that a highly anticipated
box set would be devoted to his many accomplishments and then released to an eager and adoring public. But then, Ringo Starr
is no ordinary drummer.
He has already gone down in history as the rhythmic backbone of the world's greatest rock band ever ... past, present ... or future ! ... But he is particularly pleased with his work in the All Starr Band. The premise is simple and so wonderfully effective - with Ringo at it's core, a band is built around him featuring some of the most well-known and talented musicians from the classic rock era. They are then turned loose upon soldout venues around the globe, including dates in Japan, Europe and Russia (Ringo was the first Beatle to perform in Russia !) where Ringo gleefully leads the band through not only classic Ringo-sung Beatles and solo hits, but also versions of some of each members greatest hits. The supporting cast is rotated every time there is a new tour to keep things interesting and fresh, and since it's inception in 1989, Ringo has proudly headlined his All Starr Band concept with five different aggregations of some very seriously talented players !

Comments : | Incredible value ... 3 hours, 31 mins and 57 seconds of music for £16:99 ... and what music !!
Ringo's third hit compilation album and 19th release overall this is a collection rounding up Ringo's All-Starr recordings. Despite excellent reviews, an all star cast, and great value for money, yet again this failed to chart.
