John's ninth solo single.
This track was released in an attempt to boost the sales of the ailing "Rock 'n' Roll" album, which was dropping down the
charts. Immediately the album re-surged up the charts, so this marketing ploy was successful.
This is the first release of the "B" side, which was actually written for Keith Moon's 1974 album, "Two Sides Of The Moon",
but was recorded by John at the "Rock 'n' Roll" album sessions.
The single was re-released on 17th April 1981 but on this occasion failed to chart.
This release stays with the standard Apple label design.
