U.K. Album Chart Detail : Did NOT chart.
Detail : George Harrison's eleventh solo album release.
Credited to George Harrison
Produced by George, Ray Cooper and Phil McDonald.

Once again, George refused to promote his latest release.
No adverts, no interviews, and the first single release was not the most commercial track ... hence the non-existent chart performance.
Also with the bizarre cover and some odd songs, it did rather sound like a private joke ...
which included the title track "Gone Troppo", which is an expression meaning: Going mad in the heat of the tropics.

Recording sessions ran from 5th May until 27th August 1982 at George's Friar Park studios.

The cover design is utterly surreal, which is credited to "Legs" Larry Smith, and even includes a very long method for making cement !?
The cover photograph of George is by Terry O'Neill.
As well as the illuminating cement description, the inner sleeve contains the lyrics.
