U.K. Album Chart Detail : Did NOT Chart
Detail : A four disc boxed set of old material collected together under a Collaboration banner of: Ravi Shankar and George Harrison.
This was issued as part of the celebrations for Ravi Shankar's 90th birthday.
The three albums were originally released as Ravi Shankar L.P.'s with George Harrison as Producer and guest musician.
For this boxed set Ravi and George are credited as the artistes.
The fourth disc in the set is a DVD of a previously unreleased film recorded in September 1974 at The Royal Albert Hall.
Much of the film had been lost or damaged, so the restoration is cheated a bit to get it up to an hour long.
There is an associate audio only title on the DVD which is more complete than the film at about 90 minutes.

Two studio albums originally on Dark Horse:
Shankar Family & Friends (from 1974)
Ravi's Music Festival From India (from 1976)
Plus an album on Angel Records from 1997 - Chants of India.

The sets are individually numbered and each disc is issued in overlarge 8 1/2 inch square sleeve.
Plus a 56-page hardback book with rare photographs and commentary from Ravi and George with a foreword by Philip Glass.

This set failed to hit the U.K. album chart
