The second top twenty hit for The Fourmost, for details of the line-up of The Fourmost see Hello Little Girl.

It was recorded in October 1963 at Abbey Road with George Martin producing. Again, Billy J. Kramer also recorded this song. This was on 14th October 1963 also at Abbey Road with George Martin producing. It is unclear whether he or the Fourmost actually recorded it first, but it is known that Billy's version was abandoned after 32 takes. John Lennon can be heard coaching Billy in some pre-song chat on the studio tapes.

This song was never recorded by The Beatles.

"I'm In Love" is one of 20 songs that can be found on the essential E.M.I. album, The Songs Lennon and McCartney Gave Away.
