JAMES TAYLOR

Paul played bass on the A-side of this single which was recorded whilst the Beatles were recording The White Album in 1968 (probably around September). It is also reported that George sang Harmony vocals on the track.
The single was lifted from the "James Taylor" Apple album (SAPCOR 3) which was the first Apple album release by a non-Beatle.

James Taylor was born in Boston 12th March 1948 and was married to Carly Simon for ten years from 1972.
My personal favourite of his (among many great tracks) would have to be Fire And Rain, brilliant.

To see where this single release sits in the apple releases, see the Apple Records Single Listing.
