Detail : | This record was one of John Lennon's projects which he never got to finish himself. Therefore not actually counted as a John Lennon release, but is classified as "Various Artists". It was going to be a tribute album of other artists covering Yoko's material as her 50th birthday present. Therefore, all the songs on the album are written by Yoko Ono and they are really wonderful interpretations of her music. After John's murder Elliot Mintz and Samuel Havadtoy completed his work. John appears on the first track side one, singing and playing guitar and keyboards. He also played guitar on "Now Or Never". The album and cassette were released on 21st September, but the C.D. followed a couple of months later on 16th November 1984.
The album design and illustration is by George Corsillo, with art direction by Bill Levy. The first track was released as a single two months after the album, but it was too late to assist it into the U.K. charts, see Every Man Has A Woman Who Loves Him
"In the many centuries I may have lived or may live, you are the only soul that had so much faith in me.
