Detail : | A soundtrack double album of the film, which was premiered in the U.K. on 25th October 1988. The premiere took place at the Canon Cinema, Haymarket, London with Yoko, Sean and Cynthia all in attendance. The film went on general release three days later. The film had originally been finished at just over two hours long, but was deemed too long and had 22 minutes cut for the final print.
Being the story of John Lennon, the soundtrack of the film contains songs recorded by The Beatles,
ALL THE SONGS CONTAINED HEREIN ARE FEATURED IN "IMAGINE: JOHN LENNON"
The front cover contains a self-portrait of John, with the rear having a early Beatle shot of John taken by Astrid Kirchherr. The C.D. which was released simultaneously, also has an international number of CDP 7 90803 2. |
