Credited to "The Country Hams"
Now "Wings Mk.IV", this incarnation featured : Paul, Linda, Denny Laine, and new members, Jimmy McCulloch and Geoff Britton.
Also guesting on this track were, Chet Atkins and Floyd Cramer ! ... and these Americans were most amused by Paul's playing of a "washboard" on this recording (a staple of the skiffle groups in England !).
Whilst Paul and Wings were recording in Nashville in June and July 1974 the two tracks found on this single were recorded.
Paul and Chet were chatting about their fathers, when Paul suggested they recorded a song his dad had written.
As the single was not credited openly to Paul and not promoted as such by EMI, very few people realised it was a McCartney
release. It did not enter the charts and was deleted.
The single also at one time appeared on picture disc 7" vinyl as can be seen above.
