Another opening hit for an Epstein artist written by The Beatles, as with their first L.P. release Please Please Me, note that the composer credits are "McCartney-Lennon", this changed to "Lennon-McCartney" on the next Fourmost release.
The Fourmost were : Brian O'Hara - Vocals/Lead guitar (born 12th March 1942, Liverpool - died 27th June 1999)
"Hello Little Girl" was recorded at Abbey Road on 3rd July 1963, and produced by George Martin. The Beatles were present
at the sessions. This song was recorded by The Beatles at their decca audition of 1st January 1962. Although it has often been bootlegged it didn't officially appear until 1995 on Anthology 1. "Hello Little Girl" is one of 20 songs that can be found on the essential E.M.I. album, The Songs Lennon and McCartney Gave Away. |
