Donovan was an erstwhile chum of the Beatles and even accompanied them to India. On this, his fifth hit single, Paul provided bass and some backing vocals.

Both sides are a Mickie Most production.

Donovan Leitch born in Glasgow 10th May 1946 and Britain's answer to Bob Dylan, had 10 hits between 1965 and 1969.
