THIRTY DAYS - BEST OF THE GET BACK SESSIONS

A 14 disc box set of material from the Get Back sessions of January 1969 at Twickenham and Apple studios.
Everything on these 14 discs has been digitally transferred with great care from the master tapes.
They sound better than they ever have before !
More than 500 rolls of tape were sifted through and only the very best and most interesting performances were chosen for inclusion. In some cases performances have been painstakingly reconstructed from as many as three original tape sources.

The dialogue and lengthy stop-and-go rehearsals that sometimes made listening to the Get Back sessions a chore have been bypassed, with only "takes", serious run-throughs, oldies and the more interesting and structured jams being presented.

All of the performances that made up the Let It Be album that were recorded during these January sessions can be heard in their original unadulterated form.

For the very first time the January 30th rooftop concert has been meticulously reconstructed from ALL existing source material, while the January 31st session that produced "Two Of Us", "The Long And Winding Road" and "Let It Be" is presented in a form more complete (and enjoyable) then ever before.

This 14 c.d. box set includes:

The Best of the Twickenham Sessions
The Best of the Apple Studios Sessions
The Complete Apple Rooftop Concert
The Complete Apple Studios Performance
Glyn John's First get Back Compilation

The 14 c.d.'s come in a small solid numbered limited edition box.
The box lid has an amazing hologram front cover that shows different pictures of the Fab Four when tilted.
(unfortunately, my scan can't do it justice !)
There is also a 16 page booklet, but this is very sparse just containing a bare track list.

This box set has been released previously by Vigotone as a 17 cdr set.
