Detail : These two songs were included on the British "Help!" album, but were NOT on the American version. Instead they were released as a single, with "Act Naturally" actually advertised as the A-side. This took just ten days to reach one million sales, eventually selling 1,800,000 over there.

In America the Billboard charts were calculated, not just from the sales of records, but also by which side the public actually asked for. Which meant quite often a records sales would be split amongst BOTH sides, affecting the position the record could have reached, by listing each separately.
Yesterday, entered the chart on the same day as it's A-side, but "Act Naturally" only entered at number 87 and peaked at a mere No.47.

First pressings were on Capitol in 1965 with the label being the orange and yellow "swirl", and WITHOUT "A Subsidiary of ..." in the perimeter print. This initial issue also came in a picture sleeve.
Second pressings were made in 1968, as above but WITH "A Subsidiary of ..." in white print.
Third pressings were also made in 1968, as above but WITH "A Subsidiary of ..." in black print.
Fourth pressings appeared in 1969 on the Capitol red and orange "Target" style label with a Capitol "dome" logo.
A Fifth press also appeared in 1969 on the Capitol red and orange "Target" style label with a Capitol "round" logo.

In 1971 "Act Naturally/Yesterday" first appeared on Apple with two different label variations, my example pictured above NOT having a star on the label, others do.
A third Apple version was issued in 1975 which added the disclaimer "All Rights Reserved".

In 1976 and in 1978 two more Capitol versions were issued, the first with Orange label, the second on Purple.
