NOT released as a single in the U.K. (hence my purchase), this was the track selected for single release in the states from the "Ram" album, while we had "Back Seat Of My Car". "Uncle Albert" topped the charts in America, and by 21st September 1971 had sold One Million copies and was therefore certified "Gold" by the R.I.A.A.

Paul also received a Grammy award for "Best Arrangement and Accompanying Vocalists" for this A-side.

The single was NOT released in a picture sleeve.

Finally, anyone spot the spelling mistake on the B-side ??!! ... amazing how they managed to spell "Paul" WRONG !! ... By the cringe, I wonder if even Apple themselves (or Paul) noticed !!
